FYSIK began in 2015 when Henrik and Amm, a husband-and-wife team in Bangkok, Thailand, decided to create their own gym equipment for their personal training studio. Combining Henrik's background as a personal trainer and passion for craftsmanship with Amm's experience in the steel industry, they partnered with local artisans to develop their first prototypes in Bangkok's Chinatown. What started as equipment for their small studio has evolved into a worldwide brand with their own micro-factory in Bangkok.
Born from Henrik's Swedish heritage (Fysik meaning "physique" in Swedish) and Amm's Thai roots, FYSIK merges Scandinavian design principles with Thai craftsmanship. The company takes pride in working with local artisans under fair conditions, creating contemporary gym equipment that combines functionality with artistic design.
