The project in detail
A serious training room with a residential palette.
The brief
Private Performance Gym required an in-home gym that could support serious training while belonging to the surrounding home. Existing equipment needed to be integrated with new strength pieces.
The design decisions
A natural light-wood palette, with white and black accents, gives the room a consistent material direction. Arched illuminated mirrors and built-in storage bring the architectural elements into the same conversation as the equipment.
Cardio equipment is oriented toward the view. That decision gives a repeated activity a considered position within the room, while the combination of existing equipment and new selections keeps the brief grounded in the way the space will be used.

What this project illustrates
A room does not need an entirely new equipment collection to feel coherent. Layout, storage, mirrors and material relationships can connect retained pieces with new additions while preserving the training priorities that matter.
